Our Services

At Hidden Brook Farm, we are committed to making the world a better place for our kids, our community and our horses and pets.  We attempt to live sustainably.  And we love to share what we do.

Our offerings:

  • Principles of Natural Horsemanship: these are some of our guiding principles in dealing with our horses

  • Natural Horsemanship lessons: we offer Natural Horsemanship riding lessons for adults and children. You can’t have too little or too much experience to benefit from these lessons. There are currently lesson times available – click here for a description and schedule.

  • Guide to teaching Natural Horsemanship lessons: because there was nothing available on the market to address this, farm owner and former Pony Club Instructor, Pam Allen-LeBlanc gathered information from a variety of disciplines and compiled it for instructors to use as a guide. It is our wish that everyone become exposed to these methods of working with horses – so that people can have deeper, more meaningful relationships with their horses, and so that the horse can have deeper, more meaningful relationships with their people. Natural Horsemanship principles can address the majority of health and behavioural issues horses and their people struggle with – so it is only natural to adopt these principles as fully as possible and move away from the old, limiting habits and knowledge many of us grew up around horses with. More practical guides along these lines will be available in e-book format soon.

  • Transportation/Trailering horses: We haul a 4 horse bumper pull Bonanza horse trailer with a 2005 GMC Sierra and charge $1.00 per km per horse with a minimum charge of $50. There is a discount offered if hauling more than one animal. Photos and information on our transportation service can be found here.

  • Our horses: meet our horses and learn a bit about them

  • Our poultry: we host the Nashwaak Valley 4-H poultry project at the farm – meet our birds and learn a bit about them too

  • Nashwaak Valley 4-H Club: find out a little bit about what the Nashwaak Valley 4-H Club has to offer youth between the ages of 7 and 21 in our community.
